Send Profile Details to Employees
Once a team member's digital name card has been created, they still need a way to access it and start sharing it. Admins can send this information directly from the Teams dashboard, either as login credentials for the member to access their dashboard, or as a welcome email pointing them straight to their profile and how to share it.
Admins can choose between two ways to notify employees:
- Login Details: sends the employee their login information along with a reset password link, so they can access their dashboard and edit their profile
- Welcome Email: sends the employee their personalised profile link along with guidance on how to share it, without requiring them to log in
Choose login details if you want employees to be able to edit their own profile. Choose the welcome email if you simply want them to start sharing their card right away.
How to Send Login Details
- Log in to your One Good Card for Teams Admin Dashboard.
- Go to Business Cards.
- Select the employee or employees using the checkboxes.
- Click the action button and choose Send Profile Details.
- Customise the email
- Click Send.
Each selected employee will receive an email with their login information and a link to reset their password.
How to Send a Welcome Email
- Log in to your One Good Card Teams Admin Dashboard.
- Go to Business Cards.
- Select the employee or employees using the checkboxes.
- Click the action button and choose Send Profile Email.
- Customise the email
- Click Send.
Each selected employee will receive an email with their personalised profile link and guidance on how to share it, such as via NFC tap, QR code, or wallet card.
Sending to Multiple Employees at Once
Both options support bulk sending. Select multiple employees from the Business Card profile page before choosing either action, and all selected employees will receive their respective email in a single send.
This is especially useful during onboarding waves, where a batch of new hires need to be notified around the same time.
✨ Pro Tips:
- To help recipients receive this email successfully, have your domain administrator whitelist the onegood.team domain. If the email does not arrive, they should also check their spam or junk folder.
- Use the welcome email for employees who only need to share their card and don't need to make edits themselves, such as event staff or temporary hires.
- During large onboarding batches, send in smaller groups and confirm the first batch was received before sending to the rest of the team.
