Connect Gmail

💡 Quick Answer

To connect Gmail, go to Integrations in your dashboard, select Gmail, and sign in with your Gmail account to authorise One Good Card to send and schedule email on your behalf.

Connecting Gmail to One Good Card lets you send follow-up emails straight from your own mailbox, so recipients see your real email address instead of a generic sender. This guide walks you through connecting your account and using it to send and schedule emails.

What Gmail Integration Lets You Do

Once connected, you can:

  • Send emails from your mailbox
  • Schedule outgoing emails

Every email sent through One Good Card using this integration comes from your actual Gmail address, keeping your follow-ups personal and consistent with how you'd normally reach out.

How to Connect Gmail

  1. Log in to your One Good Card dashboard.
  2. Go to Integrations.
  3. Find Gmail and click Connect.
  4. Sign in with your Gmail account when prompted.
  5. Authorise One Good Card to send and schedule email on your behalf.
  6. Once authorised, you'll be brought back to One Good Card with Gmail connected.

How to Send an Email from Your Mailbox

  1. Open a deal from your CRM pipeline
  2. Click Nudge and choose Email as your platform.
  3. Compose your message, or use a saved messaging template.
  4. Click Nudge to send.

The email is sent directly from your connected Gmail account, and a copy will appear in your Gmail Sent folder as usual.

How to Schedule Invoice and Follow-Up Emails

Scheduling is available specifically for invoices and invoice follow-ups sent through the Invoice Generator.

  1. Open your invoice or quotation in Invoice Generator.
  2. Click  Email.
  3. Choose to schedule the send instead of sending immediately.
  4. Select your preferred date and time.
  5. Confirm to schedule.

For unpaid or unsigned invoices, you can also set up scheduled reminders that follow up automatically at set intervals. Refer to the Scheduled Reminders help article for a full walkthrough.

Scheduled invoice emails and reminders are sent automatically from your connected Gmail account, even if you're not logged in to One Good Card at that moment.

Pro Tips:

  • Schedule follow-ups for the next morning rather than sending late at night. Emails that land at the top of someone's inbox during work hours tend to get opened faster.
  • Double check the connected Gmail account after setup, especially if you manage more than one email address, to make sure emails go out from the right mailbox.
  • Keep an eye on your Gmail Sent folder after your first few sends to confirm everything is routing correctly before relying on it for important follow-ups.
