Add Team Members by Individual, Bulk, or Integrations

Written by Celeste Chung · Business Development Manager

Adding team members to One Good Card for Teams is designed to be quick and flexible, whether you are onboarding one new hire or rolling out digital business cards to an entire department. There are three ways to do it: add members one at a time, bulk upload via CSV, or import directly from the employee directory or HR platform you already use.

Which Option Should You Use?

  • Individual: Best for 1 to 5 people. You type in each person's details yourself.
  • Bulk CSV: Best for more than 5 people. Details come from a CSV file you prepare.
  • Integrations: Best if your team is already in Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, BambooHR, or Deel. Details are pulled straight from that platform, and later changes are flagged for you under Review Updates.

Option 1: Add Team Members Individually

Adding members individually is ideal when onboarding a small number of people or handling one-off hires.

  1. Log in to your One Good Card Teams Admin Dashboard.
  2. Go to Business Cards from the sidebar.
  3. Click + Add Member, and Add Member by Individual
  4. Enter the team member’s details (name, email, serial number if applicable).
  5. Click Proceed.

💡 Note: If the member is an existing One Good Card user, an invitation will be sent to their email and notifications page. They must accept the team invite before being added to your team dashboard.

Option 2: Bulk Upload Team Members via CSV

Bulk upload is the fastest way to onboard multiple team members at once, perfect for new teams, company-wide rollouts, or seasonal hiring. It is the recommended option if you are adding more than 5 new team members.

How to Bulk Upload via CSV

  1. Go to Business Cards in your Admin Dashboard.
  2. Click + Add Member, and Add Member by Bulk
  3. Download the CSV template file.
  4. Fill in the required fields on the CSV(e.g. name, email, designation).
  5. Save the file as a CSV.
  6. Upload the completed CSV file.
  7. Review the preview and click Proceed.

CSV Upload Best Practices

To ensure a smooth bulk onboarding experience, follow these best practices:

  • Use the official CSV template provided in the dashboard.
  • Ensure all email addresses are valid and unique.
  • Avoid extra spaces or special characters in fields.
  • Upload in smaller batches (maximum 200 members) if onboarding a very large team.

Option 3: Add Team Members via Integrations

If your team is already managed in an employee directory or HR platform, you can import members directly instead of typing details or preparing a CSV. Names, job titles, departments, and work email addresses are pulled straight from the source, and later changes are flagged for you to review.

How to Add Members via Integrations

  1. Go to Business Cards in your Admin Dashboard.
  2. Click + Add Member, then Add via Integrations.
  3. Select your platform. Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, BambooHR, and Deel are available.
  4. Sign in with an administrator account on that platform and grant access. The exact role required is listed on each tile.
  5. Select the people you want to add. Only those marked Available can be selected.
  6. Set your Account Setup options, then click Review Members.
  7. Assign serials to link physical One Good Cards, or skip this step.
  8. Check the details on the Confirmation of Adding Members screen, then finish.

Platform Guides

Keeping Details in Sync

After the import, your connection stays in place. When something changes on the source platform, such as an employee being promoted or updating their contact details, that change is listed under the Review Updates tab in the import window. Nothing is applied until you action it.
