A Guide to Being an Admin on One Good Card for Teams
So, you've got admin access on One Good Card for Teams—what does that mean, and how does it work? Whether you’re an Admin or the Superadmin, here’s everything you need to know about managing your team’s digital business cards.
Superadmin vs. Admin vs. Members: What’s the Difference?
Superadmin
The superadmin is the top-level account with full control over both admins and regular members. As the superadmin, you can:
✅ Assign or remove admin rights
✅ Manage all users
✅ Control settings and team access
There’s only one superadmin per account.
Admin
Admins have the power to manage users but cannot assign or remove admin rights. Depending on your plan, you can have up to 5 (or more) admins to help oversee your team.
members
Regular team members who have their own digital business cards but do not have access to the Teams dashboard.
How to Make Someone an Admin (Superadmin-Only Action)
If you're the superadmin and want to assign someone to admin, here’s how:
- Log in to the One Good Card for Teams dashboard and navigate to the Members Profile section.
- Scroll or search for the person you want to make an Admin.
- Next to their profile, click the three-dot icon (⋮) to open more options.
- Click "Manage Roles", then update their role from Member to Admin.
- Once you're sure, click Confirm Action —and that’s it! They now have admin rights.
🛑 Important: Only the superadmin can assign or remove admin roles. Regular admins cannot make these changes.
How to Change or Remove an Admin
Need to update or remove someone’s admin access? Just follow the same steps above, but this time:
- Update their role from Admin to Member
- Click "Confirm Action"
Once done, their Admin access will be removed, and they’ll return to a regular team member.
Why Does This Matter?
Having multiple admins helps manage your team more efficiently, especially if you're handling a large number of users. But since only the superadmin can assign or remove admins, make sure you choose the right people for the role!
